Viral Socialite Gathering Uses Berondong' Man at Pondok Indah, Police Search for the Truth

JAKARTA - A video has circulated on Twitter's timeline showing a woman's confession about a social gathering using Tumbal (ritualistic sacrifice). The gathering is said to be in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta.

Based on the video seen by VOI, the woman initially claimed to have received a job offer as a master of ceremonies (MC). The event is called the private socialite gathering.

The woman was also offered a fee of IDR 10 million for one hour as an MC. However, she who was previously interested suddenly became suspicious after her client explained the series of events.

In the event, continued the woman, later there will be 'Berondong' or young men who will be treated inappropriately. Like crawling and being hanged.

"My client started to explain the sequence of events, later the popcorn crawled and then hung up. Huh, what event is this?", the woman said in the video, Wednesday, June 30.

Suspicious, the woman tried to dig deeper into the series of events. In the end, his client said the 'Berondong' that was presented would be a sacrifice for Pesugihan (a heretic ritual performed as a means to get rich instantaneously).

"So it's a sacrifice for Pesugihan, whose goal is to stay young, beauty, wealth, career, and others", said the woman.

At the end of the video, the woman mentions that her client will execute the 'porridge'. Execution is said to be carried out in two ways, namely using machines and manually.

"She also said that if the Berondong had been executed the blood would be drunk and the meat would be eaten by them for those things", she said.

Regarding the circulation of this woman's confession, the Head of the Kebayoran Lama Police, Kompol Donni Bagus Wibisono, confirmed that his party was still investigating.

"We are still investigating", he said.
