The Vehicle Number Of The Arrogant Pajero Driver Apparently Dead Since 2020, Polda Metro: The Perpetrator Is Afraid Of A Ticket

JAKARTA - The police said that the Mitsubishi Pajero driver with the initials OK alias OT went viral for molesting a container truck driver using a fake number plate. The reason, allegedly so as not to be ticketed by officers.

"The number used at that time was P 1861 QH. This is a fake number," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters on Monday, June 28.

Actually, Yusri continued, the police number on the perpetrator's vehicle was B 1086 VJA. The perpetrator deliberately made a fake number plate because the vehicle tax was dead or past its validity period.

"Here he is, actually the vehicle is dead, the validity period is 12 months 5 2020," said Yusri

"This is one of the motives for using a fake number because this vehicle has been invalid since month 5, the 12th of 2020," he continued.

For this reason, in this series of cases, the perpetrators will be charged with multiple articles. This is because he intentionally made or falsified a letter or document in accordance with Article 263 of the Criminal Code.

"We will wear it later, we will layer it here according to the mistake," said Yusri.

Previously, the police arrested the Mitsubishi Pajero driver who went viral for allegedly molesting a container truck driver. He was arrested after trying to escape to several cities.

"(Arrested) At Soekarno-Hatta airport. So the person concerned fled to East Java yesterday. To be precise, in the direction of Trenggalek, right. From there our team went there to arrest the person concerned, it turned out that he was moving again towards Surabaya. From Surabaya to the airport area Juanda," said Nasriadi.

"When we checked Juanda's manifest, it turned out that he flew to Jakarta. Now the team in Jakarta is already on standby here, so we arrested him," he continued.

The incidents of abuse and destruction were recorded by other road users who were passing by and went viral on social media.

In the recorded video uploaded to the Instagram account @romansasopirtruck, this incident began when the Pajero car stopped in front of a container truck.

Next, the driver of the car climbed to the front door of the truck carrying a bat and hitting the window of the truck and then the driver who was in the driver's seat. The incident seemed to create traffic jams around the scene.

The account explained that the incident began when the Pajero car stopped suddenly so the container truck behind it honked its horn. Unaccepted, the Pajero driver then got off and carried out torture and violence.

After that, the perpetrator left the scene and continued his journey. Meanwhile, the container driver named Egi suffered bruises and abrasions on his body.
