Layered Sanctions, First Brigadier II Rape Of 16-Year-Old Teenagers Becomes Suspect And Threatened To Fire

JAKARTA - The North Maluku Regional Police confirmed that they had named Brigadier II as a suspect in the rape case against a minor. Second Brigadier has been arrested.

"The perpetrator has been processed by law, the suspect has been determined, he has been detained," said Head of Public Relations of the North Maluku Police Kombes Adip Rojikan in his statement, Wednesday, June 23.

Not only named as a suspect, Brigadier II was also threatened with being fired from the Bhayangkara Corps. Because, his depraved actions have tarnished the good name of the Police.

In the process, Brigadier II will undergo an ethics trial. The results of the trial will determine the sanctions that will be given in addition to the criminal legal process.

"The point is that the North Maluku Regional Police will not tolerate people who commit criminal violations. Certainly related to this issue, they will be subject to strict sanctions again, the highest sanction is dismissal," said Adip.

For now, the rape case has entered the filing stage. If it has been completed, the former will be immediately transferred to the prosecutor's office until the end of the trial process.

For information, the Second Brigadier's action began when the victim and his colleague visited Ternate on Sunday, June 14. Then, late at night, they decided to find an inn in the Sessionoli area.

Suddenly the inn was raided by Brigadier II. The victim and his colleague were brought by the police officer to the police station using a patrol car.

Furthermore, the victim was examined in a separate room with his colleague. At that time, the victim was accused of running away from his parents. The victim denied the allegations and claimed to have obtained permission from each of the parents.

During the examination, the victim's friend came out of the room. The room was then locked with the victim's condition inside along with the Second Brigadier who was checking.

Moments later, the victim came out of the room crying and admitted that she had been raped by the perpetrator. According to him, First Brigadier II threatened to put the victim in prison if he didn't serve him.
