JAKARTA - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) has sent a summons to the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and the National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT). They were summoned for confirmation regarding the implementation of the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) for employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

BIN and BNPT are institutions that participate in the process of implementing TWK as a condition for transferring the status of anti-corruption commission employees. In addition to these two institutions, BKN is also collaborating with the Army Psychology Service, the Army Intelligence Center, and the Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS TNI).

"We have sent a summons to BIN, BNPT", said Komnas HAM Commissioner for Monitoring and Investigation, Mohammad Choirul Anam, at a press conference at his office, Latuharhary Street, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, June 22.

With the summons sent, he hopes that BIN and BNPT can attend and provide confirmation. Thus, the polemic related to the implementation of the test which allegedly violates human rights can become clear.

"We ask all parties to come to Komnas so that the information is clearer, the brighter the event that the wider public is waiting for so that it will be clear where it is going", said Anam

Apart from summoning BIN and BNPT, it is planned that Komnas HAM will also begin to summon experts. Some time ago, Anam had mentioned that three expert witnesses were summoned but he did not specify who it was for reasons of convenience.

"Next week there are experts who are negotiating the schedule", he explained.

As previously reported, the National Insight Test was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 people were declared eligible.

Meanwhile, 75 employees including senior investigator Novel Baswedan, Chairman of the KPK Employee Forum who is also investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign Giri Suprapdiono, Head of the KPK Task Force Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director of Inter-Commission and Agency Network Development, Sujarnarko, who will retire, was also declared ineligible (TMS). While the other two employees did not attend the interview test.

According to the employees who took the test, there were several irregularities in the implementation of the assessment. This includes questions asked by assessors or raters during the interview process.

The employees said the questions asked during the TWK process violated the private sphere. These irregularities were later reported by dozens of these employees to Komnas HAM, Komnas Perempuan, to the Indonesian Ombudsman.
