KPK And BKN Leaders Have Not Been Confirmed To Attend Komnas HAM's Summons

JAKARTA - The leader together with the Secretary-General (Sekjen) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have not confirmed their presence at the office of the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) today or Thursday, June 17.

Originally, they would be clarified and asked for information regarding the implementation of the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) for the anti-corruption commission employees suspected of having violated it.

"There is no confirmation yet," Komnas HAM Commissioner for Monitoring and Investigation Mohammad Choirul Anam told reporters, Thursday, June 17.

The Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Bima Haria Wibisana, who will be asked for additional information today, has yet to confirm his attendance at Komnas HAM.

Later, if the two heads of state institutions are present, they will be asked for information at different hours.

Previously, Firli Bahuri and colleagues were said to be attending the Komnas HAM office to provide clarification regarding the implementation of the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) which was reported by a number of employees. This assurance was conveyed by the Commissioner for Monitoring and Investigation of the National Human Rights Commission, Mohammad Choirul Anam.

"We announce that there has been a good commitment from the KPK leader and will come to the Komnas HAM examination process," Anam said at a press conference at his office, Jalan Latuharhary, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, June 15.

The head of the anti-corruption commission will actually be asked for clarification last Tuesday. However, this summons was answered by sending the Head of the Legal Bureau and the Acting Head of the Litigation Section of the KPK on Monday, June 14.

During this meeting, Komnas HAM explained the context of the summons that the KPK leaders had disputed. In addition, this meeting also agreed that Firli Bahuri and colleagues would attend on Thursday, although the exact time is not yet known.

For information, the National Insight Test was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 people were declared eligible.

Meanwhile, 75 employees including senior investigator Novel Baswedan, Chairman of the KPK Employee Forum who is also investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign Giri Suprapdiono, Head of the KPK Task Force Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director of PJKAKI Sujarnarko who will retire, were also declared ineligible (TMS). While the other two employees did not attend the interview test.

According to the employees who took this test, there were a number of irregularities in the implementation of the assessment. Including the questions asked by the assessor during the interview process.

The employees said the questions asked during the TWK process violated the private sphere. These irregularities were later reported by dozens of these employees to Komnas HAM, Komnas Perempuan, and the Indonesian Ombudsman.
