DENPASAR - Thugs take action at the Munggu Bypass, Badung, Bali. Perpetrators armed with machetes ambushed tempe traders.

"The victim wants to go to the market to sell tempeh. When the perpetrator pointed a machete at the victim, the victim was able to fend off and hit his finger. The perpetrators took tempeh and Rp100 thousand in cash,” said Mengwi Police Chief, Commissioner Adjutant Nyoman Darsana, Wednesday, June 16.

This thug took action on Tuesday, June 15 at dawn. At that time the victim wanted to sell tempeh to Pandak Market. From this incident, the police arrested the perpetrator.

“The perpetrator was arrested and from the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator was indeed doing this. The perpetrator has also stolen a motorbike and has been arrested before,” continued the police chief.

The perpetrator was arrested in the Kediri area, Tabanan Regency at 19.00 western Indonesia time, Tuesday, June 15. The perpetrator was immediately taken to the Mengwi Police.

"The Rp100 thousand money belonging to the victim was used by the perpetrators to install lotteries in the Beraban area. While one bag of tempe was kept by the perpetrator at his home," said Commissioner Adjutant Darsana.
