Hundreds Of Patients Added, 80 Percent Of Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital Beds Are Used

JAKARTA - There was a reduction in the occupancy rate of beds for COVID-19 patients at the Kemayoran Athlete's Wisma Emergency Hospital today. Currently, the usability reaches 80 percent, so there are 20 percent of the beds that are not occupied by patients

Head of Information for Defense Area Joint Command I (Kogabwilhan I), Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said as of today, there are 329 people who have just left Wisma Atlet as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"Inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital are 4.836 people from 5.994 bed capacities. Initially, there were 4.507 people being treated and today there are 329 people", said Aris in his statement, Friday, June 13.

The details, there are 2.477 women and 2.359 men. They are undergoing isolation in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.

So, since the beginning it was used as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020, until now, the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital has taken care of 91.036 coronavirus patients.

"There were 86.200 patients discharged, with details of 85.198 recovered, 911 were referred to other hospitals, and 91 people died", he said.

Currently, all isolated patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital are people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.

Meanwhile, patients with asymptomatic categories undergo isolation at Wisma Atlet Quarantine Pademangan. This hospital is also used as a repatriation/PMI isolation place. Towers 8, 9, and 10 of Wisma Atlet Pademangan currently have 3.580 inpatients.

"Today, there are 252 additional patients undergoing isolation at Wisma Atlet Pademangan. Yesterday, there were 3.328 inpatients", he concluded.
