JAKARTA - COVID-19 cases are soaring everywhere. After the chairman of the Surabaya Regional House of Representatives, Adi Sutarwijono, or familiarly called Cak Awi, now the news of positive COVID-19 has come from the Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang, Pilar Saga Ichsan.

Through the Pilarsaga_official Instagram account, the team informed that the South Tangerang Deputy Mayor was currently self-isolating due to COVID-19. The upload includes a photo of Pilar Saga Ichsan holding his son.

“Happy 1 year birthday, my daughter Filosofia… Sorry dad can't be with Filo, it's your first birthday,” said Pilar Saga Ichsan, Thursday, June 10.

“Father had to struggle for self-isolation. I pray for you to be a pious child, smart, beautiful, strong, and always devoted to your father and mother... I love Filo, later when I am healthy, I want to hug you," he said.

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive COVID-19 cases as of Thursday, June 10. A total of 110,623 specimens were examined with the result that there were 8,892 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 1,885,942 people and active cases are 104,655 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, June 10.

Today's recovered cases increased by 5,661 cases, bringing the total to 1,728,914 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 211 people and a total of 52,373 people.

The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 2,091 cases and a total of 440,554 cases. Followed by Central Java which has 1,531 new cases with a total of 211,164 cases. West Java has 1,334 new cases and a total of 325,520 cases. Then, the Special Region of Yogyakarta has 455 new cases and a total of 47,432 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 1,260 recovered cases. Followed by the Special Capital Region of Jakarta with an additional 1,105 recovered cases, Central Java with an additional 591 recovered cases, and Riau with an additional 471 recovered cases.
