After a Working Visit to Moscow, President Prabowo Subianto Flies to Paris

Paris - President Prabowo Subianto, arrived in Paris, France, on Monday, April 13 at 23.50 local time (04.50 WIB), after completing an important diplomatic agenda in Moscow, Russia.

Prabowo's arrival in the French capital is a continuation of Indonesia's series of strategic diplomacy in Europe, after previously carrying out an intensive bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin Palace.

From Moscow, Prabowo immediately departed for Paris with a travel time of about three and a half hours, and arrived around midnight local time. While in Paris, Prabowo is scheduled to have a one-on-one meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.

The meeting will discuss the improvement of strategic cooperation between the two countries in various priority sectors.

Indonesia and France have been cooperating closely in various fields, including defense, including the procurement of defense equipment and strengthening the defense industry; energy and energy transition, especially the development of renewable energy; and infrastructure and transportation.

In addition, cooperation also covers the fields of education and research, creative economy, and climate change management and sustainable development. France is also one of Indonesia's important partners in the European region in encouraging investment and trade.

The meeting also became an opportunity for Indonesia to convey strategic views regarding global dynamics, as well as reaffirm Indonesia's commitment to maintaining stability and promoting world peace.
