JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk or BTN became the bank with the largest number of participants in the Mass KPR House Subsidy Agreement, a Housing Financing Liquidity Facility or FLPP scheme held by BP Tapera together with the Ministry of Housing and Settlements in Batang Regency, Central Java, Thursday, July 30.
A total of 39,043 BTN debtors participated in the deed directly and online from various regions in Indonesia. This number places BTN as the largest contributor among the distributing banks in this activity.
Based on BP Tapera's official press release, this mass signing involved 62,710 Sejahtera FLPP mortgage debtors, consisting of 200 debtors who attended in person and 62,510 debtors who participated online. The contract was carried out simultaneously at at least 130 points in 372 districts and cities in 36 provinces.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, in his remarks emphasized that housing is a very vital need for the community. The President encourages the government, banks, developers, and all stakeholders to work faster, strengthen cooperation, and find new breakthroughs in improving the provision of decent housing for the people.
BTN President Director Nixon L.P. Napitupulu said BTN's achievement in the mass agreement was inseparable from the support of Danantara Indonesia which encouraged a more integrated collaboration of the national housing ecosystem.
"BTN's achievement as the largest distributor in this mass agreement is the result of joint work. Danantara Indonesia's support in strengthening collaboration between the government, BP Tapera, banks, developers, and all actors of the ecosystem also increases BTN's capacity in expanding access to financing for the community," said Nixon in Batang, Thursday, July 30.
According to Nixon, the mass contract shows that ecosystem collaboration can be translated into tangible benefits for the community. BTN takes a role in financing and services, while the synergy driven by Danantara helps connect policies, financing, housing supply, and community needs.
"The participation of 39,043 BTN debtors shows the high need for decent and affordable houses. We will continue to accelerate services and maintain the quality of distribution so that more Indonesian families can have their first home," he said.
The mass marriage took place amid the increasing realization of national subsidized housing financing. As of July 29, 2026, BP Tapera recorded the distribution of FLPP reaching 118,756 units of houses worth Rp. 14.76 trillion.
Based on the exposure of the Ministry of KPR, BTN has disbursed 55,766 units of FLPP KPR as of July 29, 2026, the highest among Himbara banks. Meanwhile, PT Bank Syariah Nasional or BSN recorded the disbursement of 28,282 units. Overall, BTN and BSN have disbursed 84,048 subsidized housing units through conventional and sharia services.
One of the beneficiaries of BTN is Sutam Sapto Wibowo, an online motorcycle taxi driver from Bantul Regency. Sutam obtained a house with installments of around IDR 1.05 million per month. Other beneficiaries come from various professions, ranging from traders, laborers, teachers, nurses, religious leaders, to small business actors.
Strengthen the Ecosystem from Demand to SupplyIn addition to distributing KPR to the public, BTN strengthens the provision of houses through the Housing Program Loan or KPP. Based on the exposure of the Ministry of KPR, BTN's KPP realization as of July 29, 2026 reached around IDR 4.39 trillion.
KPP can be used by developers, contractors, building materials stores, and other business actors in the housing supply chain. This strategy is in line with Danantara Indonesia's direction to build an integrated national housing ecosystem that has a direct impact on the community.
"Through KPR, BTN helps people buy houses. Through KPP, we support developers and business actors so that the supply of houses can grow. Danantara's support strengthens this synergy so that the demand and supply sides can move in tandem," said Nixon.
BTN also makes it easier for people to find housing through Properti balé, a digital service that provides information on home choices, prices, locations, installment simulations, and access to KPR applications in one ecosystem.
"Becoming the largest distributor is not the ultimate goal. Our focus is to ensure that more Indonesian families can find, obtain financing, and inhabit decent and affordable homes," concluded Nixon.
