Discussing The Ministry Of Defense Budget, The House Of Representatives Meeting Attended By Prabowo Was Held Behind Closed Doors

JAKARTA - Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) held a working meeting with the Ministry of Defense at the Nusantara I Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 2. The meeting, which was attended by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, was held behind closed doors.

Chairman of Commission I DPR RI, Meutya Hafid revealed the reason today's meeting was held behind closed doors. The reason is, the two parties will discuss the budget plan for the purchase of armaments and defense systems.

"Since this is related to budget meetings, including the purchase of defense equipment and the state defense system. And as usual, the meetings are held behind closed doors", said Meutya.

In today's meeting, Prabowo was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant Gen. Muhammad Herardi and National Army (TNI) Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto.

Also accompanying the Army Chief of Staff, General Andika Perkasa, Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force (KSAU) Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo, and Chief of Staff of the Navy (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono.
