International Tourist Visits Soar 700 Percent to Bogor

BOGOR - The Bogor Class I Non-TPI Immigration Office successfully recorded a brilliant performance in closing the 2025 work calendar.

Based on the performance achievement report for the period from January 1 to December 15, 2025, Bogor Immigration showed a significant positive trend compared to the previous year.

One of the red reports that turned into a striking achievement was the realization of Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP). From the initial target of Rp. 40.5 billion, Bogor Immigration successfully reaped a fantastic figure of Rp. 64,717,200,000.

This achievement is equivalent to 159 percent of the target set. This surge was triggered by the high volume of residence permit applications for foreign nationals (WNA) as well as the management of Indonesian passports which continued to move up throughout the year.

"This achievement in 2025 is a barometer for us to continue to improve the quality of public services in the coming years," said the Head of the Bogor Immigration Office, Ritus Ramadhana, at a press conference in Bogor, Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Service Inclusiveness: 85 Thousand Passports Issued

Throughout this year, Bogor Immigration has issued 85,706 passports. Interestingly, this institution prioritizes the humanitarian aspect through the Human Rights Friendly Passport Service. A total of 13,337 documents were given specifically for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, infants, and the disabled.

Not only that, the Passport Acceleration Service (Same Day) feature remains a favorite for Bogor residents with high mobility. A total of 30,536 applications for flash passports were successfully completed on time.

Tourist Magnet: Foreigner Residence Permits Soar 700 Percent

The boom in tourism and business in the Bogor area is clearly reflected in the data on the Visitor's Stay Permit (ITK). This service for foreigners has jumped drastically to 711.18 percent compared to 2024. With a total of 3,156 ITK services processed, Bogor is further strengthening its position as a favorite international destination in West Java.

Tough Side: Deportation of 300 'Naughty' Foreigners

Behind the ease of service, the Bogor Immigration Service still maintains the "fangs" in the function of supervision. Throughout 2025, as many as 434 Immigration Administrative Actions (TAK) have been imposed. This firmness has resulted in the expulsion or deportation of 300 foreigners who have been proven to violate immigration rules in Indonesia.

This achievement brought the Bogor Immigration to receive an award as the Best I in the environment of the West Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in terms of immigration law enforcement.

"We want to ensure that the presence of Bogor Immigration has a real impact on the community and maintains state sovereignty through strict supervision," said Ritus.

Closing the year with achievements, Bogor Immigration is now undergoing further transformation through digital innovations such as WhatsApp Wani Bogor and Laras Satu services, proving that bureaucracy in the Rainy City is now faster, more transparent, and performance-oriented.
