Pregnant Woman Victims Of The Terra Drone Indonesia Fire Will Give Birth In January, Dies Of Running Out Of Oxygen

JAKARTA - Novia (25), a pregnant woman who was also a victim of a fire at Terra Drone Indonesia on Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Cempaka Baru Village, Kemayoran District, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, December 9, 2015 afternoon, died from running out of oxygen.

Prasetyo, the victim's cousin, said that Novia, who is an employee at the PT, was working on the 5th floor of the building. However, the fire from the ground floor continued to grow, causing the victim to not be able to save himself.

"Yes, on the 5th floor. He wanted to get down to the 1st floor because the fire was shaking, he returned to the 5th floor and was trapped there," he told the media at Bhayangkara Hospital Level 1 of the National Police Health Center, Keramat Jati, East Jakarta Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

According to him, with the victim's body condition still intact, it is suspected that he died due to running out of oxygen.

"From the condition, thank God it's safe, yes, it means it's still intact. Maybe (out) of oxygen," explained Prasetyo.

He revealed that the victim is currently pregnant. The victim is likely to give birth in January 2026.

"It's old (the gestational age), maybe January it already wants this... it's already HPL," he said.

Prastyo admitted that he had just received news that his cousin died at around 15.00 WIB. Meanwhile, it was reported that the building caught fire at 12.30 WIB.

"It was on the road, I think it was Ashar's time. It was 3 o'clock," he said.

According to Prasetyo, the family plans to return the body to Lampung to be buried in the victim's hometown.

"Earlier I received news that he was buried in Lampung. Maybe tomorrow, yes, maybe," he concluded.
