Still Under Investigation, BPJS Kesehatan Can Not Confirm The Leak Of 279 Million Data

JAKARTA - President Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Ali Ghufron Mukti, said that it has not been able to report about the leak of 279 million population data sold on Kotz's account on the internet is the data of BPJS Kesehatan participants. The data leak is currently under joint investigation.

"So there are offered 1 million data in Indonesia that can be tested, starting from there (Kotz, red) than on Twitter then enlivened. So this is crowded on its own", Ali Ghufron said in a hearing meeting (RDP) at Commission IX of the House of Representatives, Tuesday, May 25.

Ghufron revealed, on Thursday 20 May, BPJS Kesehatan coordinated and formed a team with the State Password Cyber Agency (BSSN). Coordination continued with the BPJS Kesehatan Supervisory Board and the Ministry of Communication and Informatics and Cyber Ministry of Defense in anticipation of further leaks.

"The team conducted security of the access point by conducting closures and investigations. BPJS Kesehatan for a while also delayed all cooperation related to data exchange, then we see the ministry of information also moved quickly to close the forum access", he explained.

The team then conducted various searches through digital forensics that to this day could not be completed.

"So because it is not finished, so can not know if there is a leak or not. But it's been crowded that this leaked. So do not know exactly what he offered is true data BPJS or not, it does not know, but if it looks like yes", said Ali Ghufron.

In addition, he said, BPJS Kesehatan coordinates with the Ministry of Defense's Police Criminal Investigation Unit and Cyber. Together with BSSN, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to find out if this hack is BPJS Kesehatan data or just resembles it.

For the management of participants' own information data, Ali Ghufron claims that the security system at BPJS is very secure which is always controlled 24 hours for 7 days.

Previously Police Criminal Investigation Unit examined an operational officer in the field of information technology of the Health Social Security Organizing Agency on Monday, May 24, 2021. The examination was conducted in the case of the alleged leak of data of 279 million Indonesian boilers.
