JAKARTA - The Malaysian Police conducted an investigation to find the cause of the car accident at Lake Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK killed a doctoral student at the campus.

Kamarulzaman explained that his party received a report of the incident at 18.35 yesterday and then sent a team to the scene.

"The passenger managed to get out of the car and save himself, while the driver, a 25-year-old doctoral student, was declared dead at the scene," he said in a statement, Wednesday, December 3, quoted from Bernama.

Kamarulzaman said the body had been taken to the Forensic Department of Jeli Hospital for an autopsy.

Meanwhile, the UMK identified the death toll as Muhammad Amidee Abdullah from Manal Jaya Village, Tanah Merah, a student of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Technology.
