JAKARTA - Continuing the commitment to advance the quality of national education, Acer Indonesia today held Acer Edu Summit 2025, a seminar with the theme "Education Outlook 2026: AI and Deep Learning for Acceleration of Indonesian Education Quality".
Acer Edu Summit this time presents digital technology updates and AI integration in everyday life, which helps various stakeholders in education to think systemically, have a conceptual understanding of critical thinking, so that they can create a generation that is ready to compete in the global market.
President Director, Acer Indonesia, Leny Ng said, Acer Edu Summit 2025 is a form of Acer's commitment to continue to be a part of strengthening the readiness of the world of education to face the era of technology-based learning.
"We believe that AI and deep learning have great potential to increase the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, without ignoring the importance of the role of educators in guiding and interpreting the learning process that occurs. As the annual agenda of the Acer for Indonesia initiative, Acer Edu Summit 2025 was attended by more than 300 participants, ranging from key stakeholders in the education sector, government representatives, school leaders, curriculum heads, deputy school principals, lecturers, educational foundations, to various experts and professionals who are competent in their fields.
Experts convey materials according to their respective skills, such as Prof. Dr. Djohan Yoga, M.Sc., MoT., Ph.D., Consultant for Human Resources for Asia-Pacific Education (How to Development the Digital Mindset for Education); and Prof. Ir. Tian Belawati, M.Ed., Ph.D., Professor of FKIP UT and Member of the UT Board of Trustees (Deleting Education Limits: Equity Access and Quality through Smart Technology).
Welcoming the implementation of this conference, the Professor of FKIP UT, Prof. Ir. Tian Belawati, M.Ed., Ph.D., emphasized that the use of smart technology is now not just a trend, but needs to be implemented immediately in various education sectors.
Through activities such as Acer Edu Summit 2025, we can strengthen collaboration for equal access and improving the quality of learning for all Indonesian children. Each child has the right to quality education through the role of quality schools and teachers. Acer Edu Summit is an example of strategic collaboration between parties which is expected to drive a more inclusive and adaptive education ecosystem to technological developments," he explained.
