Today, KPK Sits With A Number Of Parties To Determine The Fate Of Novel Baswedan And Colleagues

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will discuss the fate of 75 of their employees who did not pass the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) today or Tuesday, May 25. Discussions were conducted with various parties related to the process of transfer of staffing status.

This activity is planned to be held at the office of the State Staffing Agency (BKN) around 09.00 western Indonesia time.

"There will be a meeting with BKN and KemenPANRB and other relevant parties," KPK Spokesman Ali Fikri told reporters on Tuesday, May 25.

Furthermore, he said the meeting will also discuss the fate of the employees who passed the national insight test to continue the process of transfer of status to the state civil apparatus (ASN).

"Following the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)," he said.

Previously reported, the certainty of holding a meeting to discuss the fate of dozens of employees who were declared ineligible was also conveyed by The Minister of Finance Tjahjo Kumolo. He said a coordination meeting will be held this week.

"It has been determined, next week is the coordination meeting," Tjahjo told reporters in Jakarta, Friday, May 21.

Similarly, Chairman of the State Staffing Agency (BKN) Bima Haria also said a coordination meeting will be held this week. The reason is, each of the related parties in this TWK polemic conducts an internal meeting first.

The National Insight Test (TWK) was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 were declared eligible.

Meanwhile, 75 employees including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of KPK employee union who is also an investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign KPK Giri Suprapdiono, Head of KPK Task Force Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director of PJKAKI Sujarnarko declared ineligible (TMS). The other two employees were not present in the interview.

In addition, the results of the National Insight Test (TWK) on KPK employees should be an input for the improvement of anti-corruption agencies both individually, and institutionally. He stressed that TWK assessment results were not the basis for dismissing 75 employees who were declared ineligible.
