Toyota Fortuner with the number B 1976 BYJ driven by a man with the initials TR was naturally crushed after being hit by the Airport Express Train (KA) at the Cengkareng train crossing, West Jakarta.

Head of Gakkum Satlantas West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Joko Siswanto, said the incident occurred on Wednesday night, November 26, at around 19.40 WIB.

"No injuries or deaths," said AKP Joko when confirmed, Thursday, November 27, 2025.

AKP Joko explained that the incident began when the driver of the Toyota Fortuner with the initials TR drove on Jalan Cengkareng from the north to the south.

"Arriving at the Cengkareng railroad crossing, the car was immediately hit by the airport's express train. However, the locomotive number and driver's identity are not yet known," he said.

The train came from the west to the east. It is suspected that the white car broke through the railroad crossing gate resulting in a collision.

"As a result of the traffic accident, Fortuner's car was damaged, then the vehicle fell into a river," he said.

Meanwhile, the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Laka Unit has conducted a crime scene investigation after the incident. The police also secured evidence of Fortuner cars along with TR's STNK and SIM.

The case is still being handled by the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Laka Unit.
