The Body Of Stepfather Alvaro Buried In Kedaung Tangerang

The body of the suspect in the kidnapping and murder case of Alvaro Kiano Nugroho, Alex Iskandar (49), has been buried by his family at the Kedaung TPU, Tangerang City.

"Yes, the body was taken by his family and buried on Sunday night at the Kedaung TPU, Tangerang," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters.

The police stated that Alex was found dead allegedly due to suicide in the counseling room of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Sunday, November 23, morning.

According to police statement, Alex was found hanging himself not long after the arrest process for him.

Previously, the news of Alex's death was first conveyed by the victim's grandfather and in-laws of the suspect, Tugimin (71).

Tugimin admitted that he received information that the suspect died while at the South Jakarta Metro Police shortly after being arrested.

"The perpetrator himself turned out to be his stepfather. His stepfather has even now committed suicide at the South Jakarta Police," said Tugimin.

Meanwhile, the police also carried out trauma healing for the family of the late Alvaro.

Previously, the police revealed that the perpetrator of the murder of Alvaro was the stepfather of the boy named Alex Iskandar (AI).

His stepfather has been married to Alvaro's mother since 2023 and had planned to divorce.

The police then found Alvaro, who had been missing since March 2025 at Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, who was in a state of death and arrested Alex on Wednesday (19/11) night.

The police also revealed the motive for the murder of Alvaro, namely because his stepfather was jealous of his wife.
