JAKARTA The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police revealed the new facts behind the Nissan X-Trail car accident at Kilometer 136 B Sumatra Toll Road, Lampung. Deputy Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, Kombes Pol Sunario, said that MR was under the influence of drugs while driving. A few hours before leaving for Jakarta, MR had consumed methamphetamine at a hotel.
"After escorting his wife to the airport, the suspect returned to the hotel and smoked methamphetamine before continuing his journey," said Sunario at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, South Jakarta, Tuesday (11/25/2025).
Before the accident, MR was known to have received six bags containing ecstasy from a courier. The bag was initially left in the unlocked Daihatsu Terios car, then transferred by MR to Nissan X-Trail he was using.
"MR moved the six bags into the black X-Trail he was using," explained Sunario.
