Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said the number of victims of the explosion at SMAN 72 Jakarta, who are still undergoing medical treatment, was left with three people. Meanwhile, the perpetrator, namely the Child with the Legal Conflict (ABH), could not be questioned by the police.

He said the police were still waiting for the results of the assessment from the medical authorities regarding the condition of the ABH perpetrator.

"ABH can't be (checked-ed) yet, still waiting for the results of the medical and psychological assessment," he told VOI, Thursday, November 20.

Meanwhile, Budi continued, the number of victims who are still being treated is now three people left, they are scattered in several hospitals.

"There are only 3 patients consisting of one person in Yasri Hospital, one person at RSCM and one person at the Police Hospital," he said.

Meanwhile, the legal process is ongoing, currently investigators from the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya are still examining a number of witnesses, both from the ABH family, and a number of other parties.

"Yesterday, it was still in the process of asking for witness statements, ABH's family, puslabfor and a psychological doctor," continued Budi.

Previously, Wadirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Putu Kholis Aryana revealed that the investigation process against ABH perpetrators in the explosion case at SMAN 72 Jakarta was still pending.

This is because the health condition is not stable and is still undergoing intensive treatment for the inpatient room of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital.

On Monday 17 November 2025, the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya team held a coordination meeting with the Fathers, related agencies, Densus 88, and a team of doctors, to target the implementation of the collection of information.

"From the results of the meeting, a plan for information requests for ABH perpetrators is planned to be carried out in the range of 17 21 November 2025," he said.*
