Kejari Tunggu Hasil Audit Usut Kasus Korupsi Rp3,9 Miliar Rehabilitasi 2 Sekolah Di Sumbawa Barat

The West Sumbawa District Attorney (Kejari) is waiting for the results of the audit after completing a series of agendas for examining witnesses in handling cases of alleged corruption in the rehabilitation project of SMAN 2 Taliwang and SMAN 1 Senteluk.

Head of the Special Crimes Section of the West Sumbawa Kejari Lalu Irwan Suyadi said investigators are now waiting for the results of the audit which will be the last evidence in determining the role of additional suspects.

"So, for the additional suspects, God willing, there will be more. We are still waiting for the results of the calculations," he said when contacted on Wednesday, quoted by Antara.

The allegation of the role of this additional suspect is strengthened by the deepening of witness and expert statements. There are allegations of misappropriation in project realization that resulted in maladministration.

"Yesterday there was maladministration. So, we are continuing to deepen to see other roles," he said.

In this case, there has been the determination of the first suspect with the initials MI. The person concerned acts as a project commitment maker (PPK) official from the NTB Education and Culture Office.

The determination of the suspect was based on an order from the Head of the West Sumbawa District Attorney's Office Number: PRINT-02/N.2.16/Fd.2/05/2024, dated May 20, 2024.

In the decision file, MI is subject to Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 jo. Article 64 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

According to the prosecutor's independent calculations, in the corruption case of the two schools, there was a state loss of Rp3.9 billion.

According to the prosecutor, this figure is a total loss from the work that will cost the special allocation in 2021.

The rehabilitation project for SMAN 2 Taliwang and SMAN 1 Setekuk cost Rp4.4 billion. The project is divided into seven work items which include rehabilitation items and building construction in both schools.

The company working on this project is CV with the initials CM with an offering value of IDR 3.7 billion at an Estimated Price (HPS) of IDR 3.9 billion.
