Police Arrest Chivas, Red Wine And Mixed Jack Daniels In Kuta Bali

From the description of the suspect, alcohol-making materials were purchased at Saba Kimia in Buluh Indah Street, Denpasar. The suspect has been making liquor since February 2021.

"The capital is purely from the suspect himself. Because the capital in making this drink is very cheap only more or less the most expensive IDR 130 thousand while he sells can reach 2 times to 3 times", said Kombes Jansen.

In addition, for stickers and liquor excise tape, obtained by the suspect from his friend named Shandi. Police are now expanding the investigation.

The suspect sold Mixed Chivas via Facebook. Per bottle is sold between IDR 130 thousand-IDR 150 thousand. The profit obtained can reach 50 percent of the selling price.

Meanwhile, for mixed Red Wine brand, Cap Tua, results are marketed installs along Dalung Street area, North Kuta. Amer sold IDR 40 thousand-IDR 43 thousand.

"Sales of Chivas brand alcoholic beverages are marketed in online media. He gets his bottles in the online media and he also sells them online. But the smell is very similar. Be it Chivas Regal, Orang Tua Wine, and Jack Daniels", he said.

Suspects trade liquor that is not by the processing process does not meet quality standards, net weight to dose.

The suspect is ensnared by Article 62 paragraph (1) jo Article 8 paragraph (1) of Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. The suspect is also suspected of being with the Food Act.
