Police Arrest Civil Servants of North Sumatra Health Office, Suspected Of Selling Illegal COVID-19 Vaccine

JAKARTA - North Sumatra Regional Police secured several state civil servants related to the alleged illegal sale of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Civil Servant served in the North Sumatra Health Office and one of the community institutions (Prisons) in North Sumatra.

Head of Public Relations of North Sumatra Police Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi Friday, May 21, confirmed the arrest.

He has not been able to go into detail about the arrest. He only said that the civil servant personnel was secured in Medan.

"Right, there are several Civil Servants of North Sumatra Health Office and prisons that we secure in Medan", said Antara reported, Friday, May 21.

Hadi said that an investigation related to the alleged illegal sale of the COVID-19 vaccine has been conducted since Wednesday, May 19.

Until now, investigators of North Sumatra Police are still conducting a deepening related to the case.

 

"Still being developed. We'll let you know", he said.
