MEDAN- The office of the Electoral Commission (KPU) Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra, was searched by the State Prosecutor's Team.

The Head of Information and Law Section of the High Prosecutor's Office of North Sumatra, Sumanggar Siagian, when confirmed, confirmed the search.

The search, Sumanggar said, relates to the case of alleged voter fraud during the 2020 regional elections.

"The State Prosecutor's Office Serdang Bedagai searched. Because there was an alleged vote-rigging during the local elections yesterday. Until now it is still ongoing", Sumanggar said, Thursday, May 20.

According to Sumanggar, the case is already under investigation. But Sumanggar did not want to explain the details of the case.

"That's the case already in the investigation stage", he said.
