Deputy Minister of Creative Economy (Wameekraf) Irene Umar said that her party already has a Game Seed 2025 program to provide domestic game developers with opportunities to provide innovation.

When met in Jakarta, Saturday, Irene emphasized that this October, her party had found the winning figures and had even gained interest from one of the publishers.

"We provide local game developers who have just entered so that they have initial capital to be able to make a game seed," said Irene.

Not only supporting the creation of games, Kemenekraf also sparked enthusiasm so that developers are able to present works as well as have economic value.

"Our goal is not only to make games, but one of our ways to make it is whether the game is after they make it their foundation, if they make games only but no one sells them, it's difficult. That's one value," he explained.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Creative Economy is currently reviewing from a regulatory perspective so that the government and various parties can advance the local game industry. He also on various occasions always echoed that local games are increasingly in demand through promotion and collaboration.

Irene hopes that game developers can participate in creating intellectual property (IP) so as to bring more value.

In a series of National Creative Economy Day which took place on October 1-31, 2025, the Ministry of Creative Economy together with UniPin initiated the #BanggaMainLokal campaign so that local games would increasingly dominate their own country.

On the same occasion, Co Founder & CEO of UniPin Ashadi Ang said that the #BanggaMainLokal second series campaign is a form of Kemenekraf's consistency in developing the domestic game industry.

The presence of UniPin in various countries is expected to be able to bring great economic dynamics through collaboration with various parties.
