Middle-aged Man Suspected Of Child Abuse In Tanjung Priok Has Acted 3 Times

The PPA Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim continues to deepen the suspect of sexual abuse with the initials K (55) that occurred in the Sunter Agung area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

"Suspect K committed sexual immorality 3 times at different times against the victim who was still 7 years old," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar when confirmed, Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Meanwhile, the motive that made the perpetrators have the heart to commit obscene acts against the victim is still under investigation.

"It's still being investigated (about the perpetrators often watching pornographic films)," he said.

The heinous act was successfully revealed after the victim's parents suspected the victim's condition. The perpetrator launched his action when the situation at the victim's house was quiet.

"There was suspicion from the victim's parents and then conducted a search and asked the victim. And it was stated that the perpetrator did obscene things to the victim," he said.

Furthermore, the perpetrator was arrested after the police collected a number of pieces of evidence.

"Perpetrator K was threatened with 12 years in prison for his actions," he said.

Kompol Onkoseno appealed to the entire community to better maintain their children's activities and behavior.

"Especially in terms of using social media or gadgets so as not to fall into cases of sexual deviation or sexual harassment," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a 7-year-old girl was the victim of sexual abuse by a middle-aged man with the initials K (55) in a house located in the Sunter Agung area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

It was later discovered that K was the victim's neighbor who worked as a casual daily worker.

The perpetrator was arrested by Unit VI of the Protection of Women and Children (PPA) of the North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, after the victim's family made a report. The perpetrator was arrested at his home by the PPA Unit on Monday, October 20, afternoon.
