Survey: Majority of Public Satisfied with One Year of VP Gibran’s Performance

JAKARTA - The majority of the public are satisfied with the one-year performance of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Gibran is considered capable of balancing and making a positive contribution to President Prabowo Subianto in carrying out priority programs for one year the Red and White Cabinet is running.

This is the result of the latest survey of Indonesian Political Houses (RPI) entitled 'Survey of Perception 1 Year of President Prabowo Subianto's Performance and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka' which was released at the Aryaduta Semanggi Hotel, Jakarta, Saturday 18 October.

The survey was held from October 9 to October 16, 2025, for people over the age of 17 years or who already have the right to vote and come from 38 provinces in Indonesia.

This survey was conducted using a multistage random sampling method. The number of samples obtained was 1200 respondents with a margin of error of 3 percent of the sample size at a confidence level of 95 percent.

"From the survey results, the majority of the public are satisfied with the one year performance of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka with the increase that states that 79.2 percent are satisfied, which is very satisfied 3.8 percent, quite satisfied 10.7 percent and 5.4 percent who are dissatisfied and the rest do not answer or answer do not know," said Executive Director of the Indonesian Political House (RPI) Fernando Emas.

From the survey, said Fernando, the public also revealed positive things or advantages of the figure of Gibran Rakabuming Raka. As many as 23.3 percent of the public thinks Gibran is a simple figure and as many as 20.5 percent of the public views Gibran as a figure who is technology literate.

"Then, as many as 16.9 percent of the community assessed that Gibran was an energetic figure, was able to bring a new perspective of 15.1 percent, young figures as much as 14.9 percent, visionary 8.9 percent and the rest with an assessment of Gibran," said Fernando.

According to Fernando, Gibran Rakabuming Raka has contributed according to his duties and responsibilities as Vice President in one year of government. Gibran, he said, was proactive in his work, but did not precede or exceed his authority.

"If we look at Mr. Prabowo not specifically assigning certain fields to him (Gibran), it turns out that he is still doing work even though he did not precede, did not exceed what was assigned or his authority, this was the driving force so as to satisfy the respondents or the community," he explained.

Fernando hopes that in the future President Prabowo can give Vice President Gibran a lot of authority and duties to maximize his potentials.

He gave an example, Prabowo gave a special assignment to Gibran to oversee the running of the free nutritious eating program or MBG so that it could prevent or minimize the problems of implementing the MBG program.

"Moreover, Gibran earlier, if we look at technology literate, it is hoped that with the use of technology, we can carry out supervision of the implementation of the Free Nutrition Eating program," concluded Fernando.
