YOGYAKARTA - Investigation of the suspect in the poisonous satai case that killed a child with the initials N (10) in Bantul Regency is still continuing.

Head of Public Relations of the Yogyakarta Regional Police, Grand Commissioner Yuliyanto, said that the investigation documents have not yet been sent to the prosecutor's office and an examination is still being carried out regarding the alleged involvement of other parties in the case.

"Even if the file has been sent to the prosecutor's office then there are new facts of someone's involvement, for example, such as R, it will definitely be continued," said Yuliyanto in Yogyakarta as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 18.

Yogyakarta's Profession and Security Division of Regional Police is also still checking T, who was the initial target for the cyanide-containing satai. He is a member of the police and the former lover of suspect NA.

Although previously both of them were reported to have married non-legally, based on the results of the examination, both NA and T stated that they had never married non-legally.

According to Yuliyanto, the suspect previously admitted to having married non-legally to the Neighborhood Association (RT) management in order to feel safe in the area where he lived. "He wanted to feel safe saying that," he said.

Yogyakarta's Profession and Security Division of Regional Police is also still investigating T regarding the possibility of committing violations in this incident.

"The case has not stopped. There has been no announcement whether there was a violation or not," he said.

The woman with the initials NA was arrested by police at her residence in Sitimulyo Sub-district, Piyungan District, Bantul Regency on Friday, April 30 for sending poisonous satai which killed the child of an online motorcycle taxi driver.

Initially, NA intended to poison T, a police officer who was also her ex-boyfriend because she was hurt.

However, the satai package that was sent via an online motorcycle taxi driver named Bandiman to the Kasihan area was rejected by the T family, because they did not feel ordered.

Bandiman then brought the satai home to his house in Salakan, Bangunharjo, Sewon, Bantul, and ate with his wife and children. However, Bandiman's son, N actually died because the satai contained cyanide poisoning.
