Attorney General ST Burhanuddin removed Hendri Antoro from the position of head of the West Jakarta District Attorney (Kajari Jakbar) regarding the alleged case of collecting money on evidence (barbuk) in the fraudulent investment case of a trading robot or Fahrenheit trading robot in 2023.

"He has been given disciplinary punishment and removed from his position," said Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) at the AGO Anang Supriatna in Jakarta, Thursday, October 9.

Regarding Hendri's involvement in the investigation case, Anang did not explain in detail.

"He's just a boss," he said, quoted from Antara.

When the media crew asked whether Hendri would be investigated criminally, Anang did not answer. He only emphasized that Hendri had been processed internally.

Currently, Hendri has been replaced by Aspidsus Kejati DKI, Haryoko Ari Prabowo, as Acting (Plt) Kajari Jakbar.

It is known, in the case of alleged money collection of evidence (barbuk) in the fraudulent investment case of Fahrenheit trading robot in 2023, former prosecutor at the West Jakarta District Attorney (Kejari Jakbar) Azam Akhmad Akhsya was sentenced to 9 years in prison for his involvement.

In this case, Azam obtained money from gratuities by asking for an "understood money" of Rp 11.7 billion from three legal advisors for victims of Fahrenheit trading robots investment, namely Oktavianus Setiawan, Bonifasius Gunung, and Brian Erik First Anggitya, during the execution of the case.

In detail, Rp 3 billion was received from Bonifasius, Rp 8.5 billion from Oktavianus, and Rp 200 million from Brian.

In the indictment file by the public prosecutor (JPU), Azam is also said to have distributed the money to a number of people, one of whom is Kajari Jakbar Hendri Antoro in the amount of Rp. 500 million.

The money was deposited by Azam through Dody Gazali as plh Kasih pidum/kasi BB Kejari Jakbar in December 2023.
