Not long after, HR-3605 landed. One victim with serious injuries was successfully evacuated. The victim was put on a helicopter and then flew to the National Police Hospital as a reference for further victim handling. Before long, it was HR-3605's turn to land. Another victim who was seriously injured was evacuated. While the victim was slightly injured, he was rushed to the nearest hospital.

This simulation is a form of our preparedness in the event of an accident or emergency on a toll road that is crowded with vehicles, so the option of SAR operations by air is very much needed to shorten the response time and enlarge the golden hour for safety of accident victims", explained the Head of National Police Marsdya TNI Henri Alfiandi, 10 May.

Previously, the simulation was also held on the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed (MBZ) Highway kilometer 40 B. At 08.00 WIB, it started with an accident in a sedan due to a broken tire. The car lost control, hit the road divider, and climbed into the toll road separator. Two victims suffered minor injuries, and one victim was seriously injured and pinched on the dashboard of the car.

Highway Patrol officers docked at the location and carried out area sterilization and traffic engineering. Meanwhile, the Jasa Marga rescue team with extraction equipment rushed to assist the victims. Two victims who suffered minor injuries received medical attention, then were rushed to the hospital using an ambulance. Meanwhile, one seriously injured victim had to be extra careful in handling it because he was conscious, seriously injured, and pinched by the dashboard of a car. The rescuer dismantles the body of the car using extraction equipment.

The SAR team then requested medical evacuation assistance by air. The ATS Home base moves Hellly Rescue (HR) 3605. The Dolphin helicopter flies fully equipped and equipped with medical personnel. The Task Force team also contacted Yarsi Hospital because the hospital was equipped with a helipad for landing helicopters as well as further medical treatment.
