JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 4.9 occurred in Bekasi Regency, West Java.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that in its official X account, the earthquake occurred at 19.54 WIB, Wednesday, August 20.
Meanwhile, the earthquake point was at 6.48 South Latitude, 107.24 East Longitude or 14 kilometers southeast of Bekasi Regency.
BMKG said the depth of the earthquake reached 10 kilometers without any information about any aftershocks.
