Too Busy To Visit Department of Population and Civil Registration, "Sweet Candy" Makes Residents Just Sit Sweetly

BANDARLAMPUNG - Bandarlampung City Government ensures that the application Pelayanan Melalui Online Masyarakat Duduk Manis (People Sit Sweetly Online Service, ed) or abbreviated as Permen Manis (Sweet Candy, ed) can be used by the community. This application makes it easier for them to create population documents.

"We are grateful that the application of this Permen Manis has been inaugurated by the Mayor of Bandarlampung. With this program, the community is made easier in submitting applications for civil registration documents (dukcapil)," said Head of the Bandarlampung Population and Civil Registry Office, A. Zainuddin, as quoted by Antara, Thursday, May 6.

With the Permen Manis (Sweet Candy, ed) application, people no longer need to come to the One-Stop Integrated Service Building (PTSP) anymore.

The creation of this application is intended to make services faster, more effective, and efficient and not in direct contact because it is currently in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Just download the application in the Playstore, then people who want to make population documents can register through the Sweet Candy," he said.

He hopes that the community can take advantage of the Sweet Candy program or application because they will be provided with convenience and don't have to bother coming here.

After the community registers in the application by following and filling in all the menus correctly and accordingly, the population document file in pdf form will be sent to WhatsApp or email. 

"With the exception of the electronic identity card (KTP-el) and also the Child Identity Card which has a different blank. For other documents according to the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation/Permendagri 109, which previously had the printing logo replaced with plain A4 paper so that residents can print it after we verify and send the file," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Bandarlampung, Eva Dwiana, wants the innovation of the Sweet Candy made by Disdukcapil to be followed by other agencies so that they can make a new breakthrough in maximizing public services.

"I hope that this sweet candy application can improve the service for making population documents in Bandarlampung," she said.
