LPSK Review Misri's Request To Become JC In The Death Case Of Brigadier Nurhadi

DENPASAR - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) is investigating the request of Misri Puspita Sari (23) as a justice collaborator or witness of the perpetrator who worked together in the case of the death of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok, NTB.

"Anyone who submits an application to LPSK, we will investigate it first and LPSK must carefully position it in accordance with existing regulations. If it fulfills the requirements for protection and meets existing regulations, then LPSK can give it and if not, of course not," said LPSK Chairman Achmadi in Denpasar, Bali, Thursday, July 17.

Misri Puspita Sari has been named a suspect by the West Nusa Tenggara Police. However, through his attorney, Misri has applied as a justice collaborator in the alleged murder incident.

Regarding the request, Achmadi is still processing the request, then the case is studied more deeply in order to determine the attitude of accepting or rejecting the request.

Achmadi could not confirm when the time was right to make a final decision while seeing whether Misri was cooperative during the investigation process.

"It will depend because we think that something is very related to the legal process, related to the victim is related to other administrative rights and we hope it will not take so long," he said.

Therefore, he said, collaboration with all parties, including the sensitivity of cases and also the participation of the victims, is important to process the application for justice collaborator.

When asked whether LPSK would be pro-active to make a decision on the request more quickly, Achmadi said that his party did not want to rush.

"Many LPSKs have been making efforts to pick up the ball. In addition to the efforts to apply, we usually take these steps. We also have a special team that continues to monitor cases that appear in various regions so that we can quickly assess whether these need immediate steps and pro-active actions," he said.

"In some cases, we also provide efforts to provide emergency protection measures based on the considerations regulated by existing regulations," he added.

Previously, a member of the police Brigadier MN alias Nurhadi died while with two of his superiors, namely Kompol Yogi and Ipda Haris, at a villa in Gili Trawangan, North Lombok Regency, Wednesday (16/4).

The family indicated that the deceased died unnaturally so that the police conducted an investigation.

In an effort to reveal the cause of the death of Brigadier MN, the police have carried out an exhumation by dismantling the tomb.

The NTB Regional Police then named Kompol Y and Ipda HC as suspects on suspicion of violating Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution and Article 359 of the Criminal Code regarding negligence.

Prior to his suspect status, the NTB Police through the Police Code of Ethics Commission trial had decided that the sanctions for dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) or dismissal of the two officers were dismissal.

Later, the suspect increased to three. The new suspect is a woman with the initials M because it is suspected that he was at the time of the death of Brigadier MN.
