Drinking Alcohol, A Regional Representative Council of South Central Timor Regency Holds the Body of a Man's Wife, Police: Already a suspect

KUPANG - The South Central Timor Police secured and appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Regional Representative Council of South Central Timor Regency, JN as a suspect.

JN is suspected of being involved in a sexual harassment case against a housewife from DS in Soe City.

"Currently the suspect has been detained at the South Central Timor Police and investigators are currently in the process of filing a filing", said Head of Public Relations of the West Nusa Tenggara Police, Kombes Rishian Krisna, to Antara, Tuesday, May 4.

The incident began when JN visited DS's house on April 11. At that time JN was drunk as a result of consuming alcohol. DS also went to the kitchen to make a drink, while DS's husband was in the bathroom.

Seeing DS herself, JN then went to the kitchen and from behind immediately grabbed the DS body.

DS herself thought maybe JN didn't do it on purpose because he just touched it. DS also brings a drink to the living room. However, when she got to the living room, JN returned to his actions.

Knowing that from the start JN had deliberately done indecent things, DS was annoyed and threw JN out of the house.

Her husband, who knew about this, was irritated and immediately reported the indecent act of the Regional House of Representatives members to the police.

The police then investigated the case after receiving a report from DS's husband, until finally JN was named a suspect. Kombes Rishian continued, soon, investigators will send the stage 1 case file to the Public Prosecutor for further examination.

Krisna added that JN will be detained for 20 days. All of this was done for the sake of an investigation carried out by the investigators of the South Central Timor Police, East Nusa Tenggara Criminal Investigation Unit.

"The reason for the detention of the suspect is because two strong pieces of evidence have been pocketed", he added.

Krisna continued, the police charged JN with article 289 of the Criminal Code, a subsidiary of Article 281 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, and was subject to the legal threat of nine years in prison.
