JAKARTA - Former West Jakarta District Attorney Azam Akhmad Akhsya was sentenced to 4 years in prison in connection with the alleged case of money collection of evidence (barbuk) in the fraudulent investment case of a trading robot or trading businessman Fahrenheit in 2023.

The prosecutor demanded that both be declared legally and convincingly guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption as regulated and threatened with crime in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a of the Law on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code, as stated in the first indictment.
The two legal advisers are required to be subject to the same sentence as Azam, namely imprisonment for 4 years and a fine of Rp250 million, subsidiary to 3 months in prison.
