JAKARTA - The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), announced the names of the Democratic board members for the 2020-2025 period. This announcement was made after AHY served as chairman for a month.

"For the daily board there are 100 people, the plenary board is 200 people. So, in detail each Democratic cadre can see 200 names of the board members in their respective positions in the General Chairperson's Decree," AHY said in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 15. night.

AHY claims that he compiles the names of the management carefully, precisely, fairly and wisely. This is because the Democratic Party's organizational design must be adaptive, according to the needs and challenges of the current task and in the next five years.

"I don't want to rush. Every day, I continue to study the organization and each person, one by one. I read the CV, I study its strengths and weaknesses, every day, until late at night, sometimes even up to 3 and 4 o'clock. morning, "he said.

Of the 200 plenary administrators selected by AHY, the average age is 42 years, with the youngest age being 20 years and the oldest being 60 years old. AHY also recruited several potential young cadres from various best university graduates, both at home and abroad, from master to doctoral programs.

Meanwhile, the composition of the daily board is filled by the majority of old Democrat cadres. He also emphasized that there are no concurrent positions in the party structure. Thus, DPD heads and DPC heads who are elected as DPP daily administrators, are obliged to remove the positions of DPD Chairperson and DPC Chairperson respectively.

"For senior cadres who are not in the DPP structure, in consultation with the Chairman of the MTP, they will be placed and played in other structures such as the Party High Council, the Party Advisory Council, the Honorary Council and the Party Court," said AHY.
