Jambi Provincial Government Bans Citizens From Homecoming Between Districts And Cities

JAKARTA - The Jambi Provincial Government has prohibited residents in that area from doing homecoming between districts and cities within the province on the grounds that there are no green zone areas of COVID-19.

"From the zoning side, there are no areas in the green zone, regencies and cities in Jambi are in the orange and yellow zones," said Jambi Provincial Secretary Sudirman in Jambi, as reported by Antara, Thursday, April 28.

Of the eleven districts and cities in the area, four districts are in the yellow zone of COVID-19, namely Kerinci, Merangin, Sarolangun, and West Tanjung Jabung Regency. Meanwhile, seven other districts and cities are in the COVID-19 people's zone or moderate risk zone for contracting COVID-19. Among them are Sungai Penuh City, Jambi City, Bungo District, Tebo, Batanghari, Muaro Jambi and Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency.

To tighten the homecoming route there are 33 tightening posts scattered on the homecoming routes between districts and cities in Jambi Province and tightening posts in the inter-provincial homecoming route.

Sudirman explained nine posts for tightening the inter-provincial homecoming route and 24 posts for tightening the homecoming route between districts and cities within Jambi Province.

There are nine tightening posts on inter-provincial homecoming route, namely six posts on the land route, two posts on the sea route, and one post in the air route at Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport.

"Currently, the tightening of the inter-provincial homecoming routes has been carried out, and "there is no tolerance for May 6-17," said Sudirman.

But tolerance is given to residents in work assignments with the condition that they attach documents in the form of a non-reactive rapid test result within a period of one time twenty-four hours.
