Pamulang Residents Who Were Caught Disposing Of 4 Months Of Fetus Turned Out To Be Buying Misoprostol Abortion Drugs On TikTok

TANGERANG - Aben Tri Satri (AT) and Salsabilah Galuh (SGS) lovers were arrested by the police after allegedly throwing away the fetus resulting from their illicit relationship in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang, on Wednesday night, April 9, 2025.

The Head of Pondok Aren Police, Kompol Muhibbur, explained that the two of them had an abortion by taking drugs purchased from TikTok social media accounts.

"The way to abort the pregnancy is done by taking a misoprostol drug, which is obtained from someone through the TikTok platform," Muhibbur told reporters, Friday, April 11.

Dark Relations At Work

It is known, Aben is actually still the husband of another woman, even though he has separated from bed. The resident of Pamulang, South Tangerang, then had a relationship with Salsabilah, a colleague at a restaurant where they worked together.

"They have been in touch for more than a year, living together, and having a relationship like husband and wife," said Muhibbur.

Salsabilah was later declared pregnant after conducting an ultrasound examination. Knowing the gestational age reached 4 months, the couple began to panic and decided to have an abortion.

Twice Drinking Abortion Drugs

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pondok Aren Police, AKP Junaedi, said that Salsabilah bought abortion drugs twice from the same TikTok account.

First in January 2025, he bought two items of misoprostol drugs for Rp. 350 thousand, but did not react. Then at the end of March, he bought eight more pills for Rp. 700 thousand, "he explained.

On April 9, Salsabilah took some medicine and put two other pills into his genitals. At around 02.00 to 12.00 WIB, he contracted greatly in the bathroom until he finally gave birth to a lifeless fetus.

"He cut the place with black scissors without anyone's help," said Junaedi.

Fetal Disposal, Action Known To Residents

After the fetus was cleaned and wrapped in white cloth and black plastic, Aben carried the fetus's body using a green Honda Beat motorbike to dispose of.

However, the witness, DS, suspected that Aben was digging the ground using a center. When examined, a male fetus was found in the black plastic.

The police immediately went to the scene and arrested Aben. From the results of the development, Salsabilah was also secured at his boarding house in the Kembangan area, West Jakarta.

Both are now named as suspects and detained at Pondok Aren Police. They were charged with: Article 77A of Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection, Article 346 of the Criminal Code (Abortion without medical indications), Article 348 of the Criminal Code, Article 427 of Law no. 17 of 2023 concerning Health. The maximum penalty is 12 years in prison.
