JAKARTA - The creative music unit involving a number of experienced musicians introduces themselves. They are SaladKlab, the EDM unit of the tech house genre initiated by Fickry and Coki (NTRL).

Had worked on two songs that were finished and ready to be released, both of them completed the formation by inviting Bagusicalization and Indra7 to contribute as remixers for this project through the characteristics of their respective music.

After Bagus and Indra7 made a remix version of the EP (Extended Play) which is planned to be released through an electronic music label from Japan, Housetribe Recordings, communication then continued to make this 'collective' more serious.

The name SaladKlab itself was triggered spontaneously and without plans. Starting from the moment of gathering and ordering healthy food, the name was finally agreed upon together.

By chance the salad also represents this collective foundation. With a diverse, different, and output background in processing and playing electronic music according to their respective styles like salads consisting of a variety of vegetables and contents.

SaladKlab shows its musical existence through an EP entitled No Wassap containing four tracks.

"Initially, before this EP was created, Fickry and Coki had already made two tracks entitled 'No Wassap' and 'Play Right.' Then, because at that time the intensity of the four of us meeting (Indra7, Bagus, Coki, and Fickry) was quite frequent, Fickry and Coki offered me and Bagus to make a remix of each of those finished tracks. The process was actually organic," said Indra7 representing SaladKlab.

EP No Wassap was released by a Japanese label, Housetribe Recordings, which focuses on electronic-based music. The selection of No Wassap, which was also raised as the title of advice from Housetribe Recordings as a label that has stronger industrial intuition.

At the beginning of making this project, it happened that Fickry had made several previous releases with Housetribe Recordings, Japan. So, when the EP process was completed, the first label offered was directly to the Housetribe, because the music color we made also matched the characteristics of the label and the response was also relatively fast. It didn't take more than two weeks to get the release approval from Housetribe, "explained SaladKlab.

In the future, SaladKlab will continue to focus on releasing electronic tracks with the uniqueness of their respective personnel. Like salads consisting of various types of vegetables, they are incorporated in an entity without having to release their respective 'flavor' characters.
