Tarawih Prayers, Thieves In Tulungaggung Break 6 Houses

TULUNGAGUNG - The Tulungagung Police Team, East Java, arrested two theft perpetrators who had acted during tarawih hour. The perpetrator has broken into 6 houses.

"Lastly the perpetrator acted at the house of Wiyono, a resident of Pinggirsari Village, Ngantru District," said Kapolsek Ngantru AKP Puji Widodo quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 27.

A week after the victim's report, the police managed to arrest two of the perpetrators. The two are Koliq Bin Ichwan (52), a resident of Jalan Jatisari, Pepelegi Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency.

The perpetrator, known as Puji Widodo as a recidivist, was arrested while in transit in the middle of his "criminal adventure" at Jombang Terminal.

Kholiq Bin Ikhwan could not escape when the police took him to the police station. Kholiq confessed all his actions.

During the questioning, he mentioned the involvement of Panji Lianto (41), another recidivist who is now a street vendor around Jalan Kapten Kasihin, Tulungagung City. Panji was arrested not long afterwards.

"They also took action in several other places in Nagntru and Karangrejo Districts," said the Kapolsek.

Of the two perpetrators, the police secured evidence, namely the iPhone, Rp500,000 in cash, the remainder of the sale of gold jewelry, including a number of other items. Also confiscated the motorbike used when looting the residents' houses.
