BMKG forecaster Hasalika was quoted by ANTARA as saying that light rain is predicted to occur in several major cities on the island of Sumatra, namely Medan, North Sumatra; Padang, West Sumatra; Pekanbaru, Riau; Jambi; and Bengkulu.
"Meanwhile, on the island of Java, light rain has the potential to flush Jakarta; Bandung, West Java; Semarang, Central Java; Yogyakarta; and Surabaya, East Java.
