BPJN Lampung: National Road Hole Closure Completed Before Eid

The Lampung National Road Implementation Center (BPJN) targets the work on closing the national road holes in its area to be completed before Eid Al-Fitr 2025.

"As preparation for facing Eid al-Fitr 2025, BPJN Lampung has begun to carry out regular repairs and maintenance on national roads in the Lampung Province," said Head of the Lampung National Road Implementation Center Susan Novelia when contacted in Bandarlampung, Antara, Wednesday, March 19.

The improvement of the national road was carried out with the aim of ensuring road conditions remain good and realizing zero potholes. So that it is safe for road users during the homecoming flow or backflow of Lebaran 2025.

"So far, until Monday (17/3) the progress of closing holes in all national roads is 74.52 percent, and it is targeted to close the hole before Eid al-Fitr so that travelers can safely and comfortably cross national roads," he said.

He explained that apart from closing the hole on national roads, before the 2025 Lebaran homecoming, he also carried out a bridge preservation program.

"This program includes routine maintenance, periodic maintenance and rehabilitation of bridges to ensure the feasibility and safety of structures during homecoming and return flow," he said.

According to him, his party also carried out intensive monitoring of the bridge which is the main route for travelers, as well as preparing emergency steps if needed.

"With the closure of the holes on the west, east, middle crossing, or national roads as well as the maintenance of the bridge. It is hoped that the mobility of travelers will be smooth during the Eid 2025 period," he added.
