JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated 20 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) to support the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.
Of the dozens of SPPGs, four of them are at the level of the National Police Headquarters and others at the regional police ranks.
"Today we are launching the SPPG to support the Asta program from the President. Eating Nutrition is free. And Alhamdulillah, for the initial launch we carried out at 4 SPPG at the Headquarters level and 16 SPPG at the Priority Police level. Of course, this does not stop here and of course we will continue to develop this, "said Sigit to reporters, Monday, March 17.
According to him, the construction of the SPPG is the result of collaboration with the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) in supporting the MBG program.
The construction of the SPPG is said to continue in several locations. Because, it is targeted that there will be 100 SPPGs until July 2025.
"And as our commitment to support a free nutritious eating program, the National Police also recruits Bakomsus who has expertise in the nutrition sector," he said.
Sigit also said that there would be a Bakomsus for accountants, livestock, and fisheries, which would complement the free nutritious eating program. Thus, SPPG under the National Police will have food security to ensure that everything reaches the quality according to standards.
