Discussing Pertamina's Corruption With The DPR, Jampidsus Minya Masyarakat Is Not Worried About Buying Pertamax

JAKARTA - Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah, said that his party discussed the development of several corruption cases with Commission III of the DPR in a meeting with general opinion (RDPU) which was held behind closed doors this afternoon. Including the PT Pertamina corruption case which reportedly almost reached Rp1 quadrillion.

"Earlier, RDP regarding the handling of several important cases, until we have conveyed, of course, this is good, so that functions and supervision of the state run. And this is an encouragement for the prosecutor's office to do things quickly and better. Yes, Pertamina was discussed earlier," said Febrie at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 5.

Jampidsus appealed to the public not to worry about buying Pertamax fuel which was rumored to have been mixed by Pertalite. Febrie revealed that his party had tested the product and it had been declared according to standards.

"And most importantly here, I say that for the community, don't worry about buying products at Pertamina. Because we are also coordinating with Pertamina, and this has been done by Pertamina to ensure that testing Pertamax products and other products that are consumed by the community meet the standards," he said.

Jampidsus hopes that people will continue to use Pertamina products which are Indonesian products. "Once again, I convey to the public, yes, Pertamina is the pride of all of us. So we still have to maintain how Pertamina's business can run better," he said.

Moreover, it will soon enter the Eid homecoming season. So that his party ensures that Pertamina's products have been tested for feasibility.

"And this is also before the era, of course the flow of homecoming will use a fairly large need. So we make sure, we make sure, we have asked Pertamina and openly to test the product. And I heard it has been done," said Febrie.

"To the public, we urge you not to leave Pertamina. Because we must continue to love our own products," he concluded.
