Will Extend PPSU Contract, Pramono Anung: But Those Who Are Not Enthusiasm Of Work Have Consequences

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung revealed his promise to extend the contract period for public infrastructure and facilities handling officers (PPSU) from the previous one year to three years.

However, Pramono emphasized that PPSUs who are not diligent in their work will have the consequences of not getting an extension of their work contracts.

This was revealed by Pramono when leading a field troop alert meeting consisting of orange troops, green troops, yellow troops, blue troops, firefighters, and DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) officers.

"Ladies and gentlemen, later we will provide convenience. You don't need to be evaluated every year. However, for PPSU orange troops who are not enthusiastic about working, do not work diligently according to the contracts or agreements made with you, there will also be consequences," said Pramono at Plaza Selatan Monas, Central Jakarta, Thursday, February 20.

In addition, Pramono also promised to allow residents who only graduated from elementary school (SD) to register for PPSU. According to Pramono, the work of the cleaning staff at the village level in orange uniforms does not require a minimum high education requirement. Elementary school certificates are deemed sufficient if the person concerned can work to clean the environment.

"I will make it easier that the requirements for the orange troop or PPSU are no longer necessary for SLTA graduates. Read written and SD is sufficient. The important thing is to be diligent in working," he explained.

The promises made by Pramono were greeted with cheers by the orange troop who attended the standby rally. This apple was attended by around 2,600 field officers.

Pramono also asked the field troops to remain enthusiastic in making Jakarta safer, more comfortable, clean, cared for, and neat. Given, until now, Jakarta is still the capital city until the official capital city transfer moves to the archipelago.

"In the field, there are often many small problems, but they become big because they are not immediately handled. Thus, the existence of togetherness will be important, not only for your work, but also for the face of Jakarta in the future," he explained.
