President Prabowo: Inauguration Of 961 Historic Momentum Regional Heads

President Prabowo Subianto stated that the agenda for the inauguration of 961 regional heads and deputy regional heads elected in the simultaneous inauguration today is a historic moment for Indonesia.

"I think this is a historic moment. For the first time in our country, we have appointed 33 governors, 33 deputy governors, 363 regents, 362 deputy regents, 85 mayors, 85 deputy mayors, with a total of 961 regional heads from 481 regions," said President Prabowo in his speech at the Presidential Palace Complex, Antara, Jakarta, February 20.

According to the Head of State, the inauguration of this official is the first time hundreds of regional leaders have been inaugurated simultaneously by the President.

In his speech, President Prabowo congratulated all elected regional heads and deputy regional heads.

The President appreciated the mandate given by the people to these new leaders to advance their respective regions.

"Ladies and gentlemen, first of all, I would like to congratulate you on your inauguration. I also want to congratulate you on the mandate given by the people from their respective regions and on the election of brothers and sisters to become regional heads," he said.

President Prabowo emphasized the importance of collaboration between the central and regional governments in realizing equitable and sustainable development.

The President also hopes that regional leaders can work with integrity and uphold the interests of the people above all else.
