The Matraman Police confirmed that the PPSU officer who was found dead in his room with a body condition hanging from a pure suicide. This was revealed from the results of the examination of witnesses, evidence and identification of the victim.

"Indeed, previously he had threatened his wife (if the victim) wanted to commit suicide. (the victim) was already in debt (online loans), he could not pay it," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Matraman Police, AKP Mochamad Zen when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, February 18.

The victim with the initials A alias M was found in a neck hanging inside his house.

From the results of the interim investigation, Kanit said that the victim was desperate to commit suicide due to being involved in a loan.

"Behind a loan, the burden of life is too heavy, maybe. A lot of debt is borrowed," he said.

With this debt background, it is strongly suspected that the 52-year-old victim was desperate to end his life.

Previously, it was reported that a PPSU officer in Matraman District was found dead in his house Jalan Pisangan Baru 1, RT 06/10, Matraman District, East Jakarta on Monday night, February 17.

The victim died allegedly due to suicide. The victim's body was first found by his wife, then the wife screamed hysterically and reported it to the RT management. Then forwarded to the Matraman Police.

According to information from local residents, the victim, known as Asmuni alias Muni (52), was desperate to end his life because he was caught in a loan.

"What I heard was that there were indications of being caught in an online loan," said a man with the initials GM, a local resident.
