Chased, This Student In Lampung Had A Bemper Stab In A Police Car With A Sickle

South Lampung Police personnel arrested a sharp armed student who wanted to fight between teenagers in the Kalianda sub-district, early this morning at around 00.30 WIB.

South Lampung Police Chief AKBP Yusriandi Yusrin said the arrest of students was carried out by the Rajabasa Brush Team which moved quickly after receiving reports from residents.

"The Rajabasa Brush team this morning managed to secure a student with the initials MZ who is still a student in Kalida, along with two sharp weapons, namely a sickle and a long machete," he said in Kalianda, Antara, Thursday, February 13.

The teenager who was detained was taken to the South Lampung Police for further investigation. He said that when the Rajabasa Brush Team patrolled, they received reports from Kalinda residents about a group of teenagers roaming around carrying sharp weapons.

Then, after receiving the report, his party immediately moved quickly to the location and received information that the students had moved.

From the report, the team headed to the location but the brawlers were no longer there. Then the team patroled and found a number of two-wheeled vehicles left by their owners in front of Rosalia's pom.

"From that pursuit, the team managed to arrest one student and two sharp weapons. When this perpetrator was about to be arrested, he fought back by slashing the bumper of a police car using a sickle," he said.

Due to this incident, the Police Chief emphasized the importance of cooperation between the police, schools, and parents in conducting guidance and strict supervision of student activities in order to avoid juvenile delinquency.
