Head of the Geological Agency Muhammad Wafid said this status was raised at 03.00 WITA based on the results of both visual and instrumental monitoring.
"On February 13, 2025 at 03.00 WITA, the activity level from Level III-SIAga was increased to Level IV-Awas with a radius of 6 km and sectoral 7 km southwest to northeast," Wafid said in an online press conference, Thursday, February 13.
Wafid added, from this level increase, the areas recommended by the Geological Agency to avoid all activities include 6 villages with evacuation recommendations, including Nobo Village, Dulipali Village, Klatanlo Village, Hokeng Jaya Village, Boru Village, Kampung Hamlet and Podor Hamlet and Nawokote Village.
